G&L on The C2C!

Salut, kiddos!

My fantastic blog-friend Ollin Morales has invited me to guest post over on his blog, Courage 2 Create!  I won’t spoil it.  So head on over, and let me tell you Why Your Lack of Focus is a Good Thing!

Don’t forget to leave comments, and check out the rest of Ollin’s blog.  He and his amazing line-up of guest posters offer some sound and incredibly encouraging advice.

  1. Caught your guest post, which brought me here. I’d like to follow your postings, but could you provide an RSS feed? It’s the way I’ve been organized for years.

  2. Congrats! Sorry I’ve been AWOL for so long, but I’m headed over there right now. Can’t wait to read!

I loved your article/post! =D Agendas and desk calendars are very dear friends of mine.

But I have a confession. If I do a full outline for a story, I never end up writing the story. I just get bored with it and move on to something else. I guess that’s why I’ll never be a real author, just a dabbler. =[

    • D’aw, that’s not true. I don’t do detailed outlines. But I start with a beginning, a few key points in the middle, and an ending. All of which are subject to change, obviously. Then, as I go, I keep a log at least a chapter ahead of where I’m writing with a few points I want to touch on in the next chapter. It’s really loose and casual, just something to tell me “this and this need to happen.” Usually not more than a couple of lines, but it keeps me organized. =] Crazy detailed outlines are exhausting.
